Dear U.S. soldier:
Your countrymen back here in America are in BIG trouble, and we urgently need you to return home right away. Our freedoms have come under withering attack by a deft and ruthless enemy, and without you here to help us defeat them, we will lose our country. Much has been happening to our freedoms back here on the home front while you've been busy over there. Following is just a partial list of the many battles being lost today on America's front lines:
==> Our representative form of government has been overthrown. The politicians over here have sold us down the river into a modern form of slavery, facilitated by rampant influence peddling. Average Americans are now servants to an alien occupation force backed by a fast-growing army of lobbyists. To insulate themselves from accountability, our traitorous politicians have worked out a clever system of continually gerrymandering our voting districts to their own advantage, ensuring that they will always get to choose their voters rather than the other way around. Thus the reelection rate of the enemy incumbents is now at a spine-crushing 98%. So you see, we desperately need your help today if we are to restore our republic!
==> Taxation without representation is back and worse than ever. Due to the loss of electoral accountability, the entrenched enemy is now free to abuse us at will. Consequently, Tax Freedom Day is now into June, this while agents of the new oligarchy are enjoying better job security, health benefits and retirement packages than we servant taxpayers receive. And when we try to do something about it -- such as run a local tax-cut initiative or a bold small-government candidate -- the enemy's employee unions call forth roving bands of thugs to intimidate us in the public square. So we sure could use some brave men and women like you to help us outnumber the goons. Please come home and stand shoulder to shoulder with us for taxpayer justice. We need you now more than ever!
==> Our freedom of speech is being whittled away. As I've demonstrated, the occupation government has no regard for our republican traditions. But the enemy is so brazen now that they've begun even to infringe our right to free speech during election seasons, while paying off the media to propagandize for their totalitarian aims. Please come home and help us repeal all laws that forbid freedom of expression. And hurry, before even appeals like this letter are added to their list of no nos. Your boundless patriotism and strong resolve could mean the difference between our freedom and tyranny.
==> Our schools have been captured as well. The enemy is forcing our kids into government-run institutions, where our religious & cultural liberty and education freedoms are being stamped out and replaced by a bland, one-size-fits-all secularism. Our children are even required by the new order to pledge allegiance to socialism rather than to individual liberty. Please come home quick and help us end the occupiers' brainwashing of our children.
==> Our private property rights are gone under the new government here. The enemy is abusing our eminient domain laws to expand their power and to enrich their cronies, at the expense of our sacred homes and businesses. Please come home and help us reclaim our private property rights. We are severely short-handed without you.
==> Our right to self-defense has been officially crushed under the new regime. The enemy doesn't want us able to defend ourselves, because a key component of seizing any nation is disarming its people. So the usurpers are doing all they can to hide from us the fact that more guns equal less crime. Instead, they go on pretending that only they can protect us from harm, even though nobody back here with a lick of sense believes that -- especially after 9-11 and Katrina. And Waco. And Ruby Ridge. And Columbine. Please come home and help us restore our second amendment.
==> The occupiers have now even asserted their "right" to spy on us and their "authority" to kidnap and detain us indefinitely, without due process of law. They have even imposed Martial Law here, effectively declaring our old Constitution dead. We're continually told by the new regime (and its suckups) that trading up our essential liberty for a little temporary safety is good for us. But everyone on the planet knows that we Americans were bred to Live Free or Die. So please come home and help us put a stop to the illegal spying, unlawful abductions and anti-constitutional Martial Law.
As you can see, accomplishing the mission to liberate America will take a lot of hard work. But we've heard that you're quite accustomed to working hard, so you're just the type of people we need here in America, right now. We can't win Operation American Freedom without you, and time is running out. So please return home today!
